Australian star Sophie Monk headed to Iraq this week to entertain the troops who are hard at work defending this nation against terrorism.
Sophie was only half way through her new song 'One Breath Away' when she was taken aside and arrested on charges of terrorism.
A spokesperson from the Australian Defence force said "We had to arrest Ms Monk because of what her music was doing to the troops. Our nations troops aren't going to want to fight when they feel they are defending people like Ms Monk. We feel that constitutes terrorism."
Sophie resisted military police and fled away from the performance only to be shot on the streets on Baghdad hours later.
Witnesses say that Sophie was shot while attempting to busk in a mall.
